Send your enquiry
In short. You can reach Reddy Generators by phone or WhatsApp on 098852 01608, by email at info@reddygenerators.com, or at our office in Tarnaka, Secunderabad (workshop at Pedda Amberpet, visits by appointment). We handle diesel generator sales, rental, installation, service, AMC and spare parts across Hyderabad, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Tell us what you need and the facts you already have; you do not need a final specification or an exact kVA to start the conversation.

For a generator that has failed and a business that is down, phone first. A call lets us ask the questions that decide whether the fix is a site visit, a phone diagnosis or a rental set. Then send photographs by WhatsApp so the technician arrives knowing what to bring.
Choose the right enquiry pathway
Sales, rental, engineering, parts and service each need different starting information. The enquiry pages ask for the details that matter for that kind of request.
- Generator sales: a new set, replacement or upgrade, with panel, installation and commissioning.
- Generator rental: temporary, emergency, event, construction or shutdown power.
- Service and AMC: breakdowns, preventive maintenance, annual contracts, load testing.
- Spare parts: filters, batteries, AVRs, controllers, sensors and engine parts matched by model and serial.
- Application engineering: sizing, motor starting, ATS and AMF design, paralleling, load studies.
- Projects, suppliers and partners: consultants, contractors and suppliers.
If you are not sure which applies, describe the situation and the decision you need help with, and we will route it.
What information helps the first conversation
For a new generator
The site location, the type of building or industry, the load list or main incomer rating, the largest motors and how they start, voltage and phase, the loads that must stay on during an outage, how long the set must run, and where it will stand. Mark figures as preliminary if they are not confirmed. A rough load list is more useful than an invented kVA.
For service or a breakdown
A photograph of the generator nameplate, the alarm or fault shown on the controller, what happened just before the fault, the hours run, and the date of the last service. A short video of a start attempt often tells us more than a description.
For rental
The load or the kVA you think you need, the start date and duration, the site address with access details, and whether you need cables, a changeover panel, fuel and an operator.
For spare parts
The engine and alternator plate photographs, the part number if visible, and a photograph of the old part. Parts are confirmed against model and serial before supply.
What happens after you contact us
- We acknowledge the request and ask for any missing details that affect the answer.
- For engineering, sales and project requests, we review the load and site information and may suggest a site survey.
- For breakdowns, we decide whether phone guidance, a technician visit or temporary power is the right first step.
- We send a written quotation that states the scope, what is included and excluded, and availability.
- Work is scheduled once the scope and terms are accepted in writing.
An enquiry on its own does not confirm acceptance, availability or a technical commitment. Attendance times depend on location, urgency, site access and the availability of technicians, equipment and parts, and are confirmed when we respond. Contract customers receive the response terms written into their agreement.
Documents, privacy and safety
Share only what is needed to assess your requirement: load lists, single-line diagrams, nameplate photographs, service records and site photographs are all useful. Please do not send passwords, payment card details, unnecessary identity documents or unrelated confidential information. If a drawing or load schedule is confidential, tell us and we will agree a suitable way to receive it. Information you send is used to understand and respond to your requirement.
Safety while you wait
If a generator or panel has failed, do not open live panels or touch exposed conductors. If there is smoke, a fuel leak or a burning smell, stop the set using the emergency stop, isolate it if it is safe to do so and keep people away. Note any alarm shown before resetting the controller, because resetting can clear the fault record we need for diagnosis.
Common mistakes
- Sending only a kVA figure without a load list or site details, which can result in a quotation for the wrong machine.
- Resetting the controller repeatedly before calling, which erases the event log and makes diagnosis slower.
- Describing the site by area name alone, which leaves access and parking problems to be discovered when the vehicle arrives.
- Assuming an enquiry reserves a rental set, which can leave you without power if the start date is not confirmed in writing.
What to send us
Whatever the request, send the site location, a photograph of any existing generator nameplate and controller screen, a short description of what you need and when, and your contact name and number. For larger projects add the load list and single-line diagram by email to info@reddygenerators.com. For anything urgent, call or WhatsApp 098852 01608, or send a service enquiry for non-urgent maintenance.
Questions engineers ask
Where is your office?
Our office is in Tarnaka, Secunderabad, and our workshop is at Plot No. 46, Amberpet Kalan, Pedda Amberpet, Hyderabad 501505 (visits by appointment). Please call ahead before visiting so the right person is available to meet you.
Do you respond to generator breakdowns outside office hours?
Call 098852 01608 and explain the situation. Out-of-hours response depends on location, urgency and technician availability, and AMC customers have response terms stated in their contract.
Do I need to know the generator size before contacting you?
No. Send what you know about the loads and the site, and mark uncertain figures as estimates. Working out the right size is part of what we do.
Can I send photos and videos on WhatsApp?
Yes. Nameplate photographs, controller alarm screens, panel interiors and short videos of start attempts are very helpful and often save a site visit.
Which areas do you cover?
We work across Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Telangana, and support projects in Andhra Pradesh and nearby states after reviewing the scope and logistics.
We serve all of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and every district within about 300 km of Hyderabad, with project support across India. See the areas we serve.
