In short. For a careers enquiry, tell us your area of experience, your qualifications and the kind of generator work you want to do. For a corporate enquiry, state your organisation, the subject and the information you need. Reddy Generators has worked from Tarnaka, Secunderabad since 2002 on generator sales, rental, service and parts, and we read every serious enquiry. Sending an enquiry does not imply that a vacancy exists; we will tell you plainly whether there is a fit.

Working in generator service and engineering
Generator work suits people who like solving practical problems with their hands and a meter. A typical week can include a preventive maintenance visit to a hospital standby set, a breakdown at a factory where the set starts in manual but not in auto, a rental installation for a construction site, a load bank test after an overhaul, and a parts identification from a faded nameplate. The work is technical, outdoor much of the time, and sometimes urgent.
Skills that matter in this trade
- Diesel engine knowledge: fuel systems, cooling, lubrication, starting and governing.
- Electrical knowledge: 415 V three-phase systems, alternators, AVRs, contactors, breakers and protection.
- Controls: AMF panels, generator controllers, sensors, wiring diagrams and fault codes.
- Safe working: isolation, lock-out, battery handling, lifting and working near rotating machinery.
- Records: writing a clear service report with readings, findings and recommendations.
Relevant backgrounds include ITI electrician, ITI diesel mechanic or motor mechanic, diploma or degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, and experience with engine, generator, panel or switchgear manufacturers or service organisations.
How to send a careers enquiry
| Include | Why it helps |
|---|---|
| Your name, location and contact number | Lets us respond and see whether travel to sites around Hyderabad is practical |
| Qualification and year | Shows the technical foundation |
| Work experience with dates | Shows which engines, panels or systems you have handled |
| Makes and equipment worked on | Helps match you to service, installation or panel work |
| Type of work wanted | Field service, workshop, installation, sales support, parts or engineering |
| Availability | Notice period or start date |
A short covering message and a one or two page CV are enough for a first contact. Please do not send identity documents, bank details or certificates at this stage; we will ask for what is needed if a discussion moves forward. Email info@reddygenerators.com with the subject line Careers enquiry, followed by your trade or role.
What happens next
If there is a current opening that matches your background, we will contact you to arrange a discussion and, for technical roles, a practical assessment covering safe working and basic fault-finding. If there is no opening, we may keep your details for a reasonable period for future needs if you agree. We do not charge any fee for applications, and we do not use agents who ask candidates for money; if anyone does so in our name, please tell us.
Corporate enquiries
Corporate enquiries cover a wide range of requests from organisations rather than individual customers. The most common ones we receive are listed below with the right route for each.
- Vendor registration and supplier onboarding forms from procurement departments: email with the form and the list of documents required.
- Capability statements for tenders or consultant shortlists: tell us the project type, location and scope so the statement is relevant.
- Rate contracts and framework agreements for service, AMC or rental across several sites: send the site list and the equipment at each.
- Supplier and partner introductions, for example panel builders, transporters or fuel suppliers: use the projects, suppliers and partners pathway.
- Media, education and industry association requests: state the purpose and the information required.
When completing vendor registration, we provide only documents that exist, are current and belong to our entity. We do not overstate certifications, project counts or relationships with manufacturers. If a form asks for something we do not hold, we will say so rather than leave a misleading answer.
What we can describe about our work
We can describe our services, which cover diesel generator sales, rental, installation, service, AMC and spare parts for all common makes, together with AMF and ATS panels, cabling, earthing, fuel systems and CPCB IV+ compliant sets. The generator systems, generator services, rental power and spare parts sections set out that scope. Customer names, site details and project data are confidential and are disclosed only with the customer’s written consent.
Common mistakes
- Sending a CV with no indication of the work wanted, which makes it hard to match the applicant to field, workshop or office roles.
- Attaching identity and bank documents with a first enquiry, which shares sensitive data before it is needed.
- Sending a vendor registration form without the deadline or document list, which delays the response past the procurement cut-off.
- Requesting a capability statement without describing the project, which produces a generic document that does not help the shortlist.
What to send us
For careers, send your CV, your trade or qualification, the equipment you have worked on and the kind of role you want. For corporate requests, send your organisation name, your role, the subject, any forms or document lists, and the deadline. Email info@reddygenerators.com or use the contact page, and mark the subject clearly as careers or corporate.
Questions engineers ask
Are you hiring generator technicians?
Openings depend on current workload, so we cannot promise a vacancy at any given time. Send your details by email and we will contact you if there is a matching role, or tell you if there is not.
Do you take apprentices or trainees?
We consider ITI and diploma candidates who show genuine interest in diesel and electrical work. Training is practical and on site under supervision, with safe working taught first.
Can you complete our vendor registration form?
Yes. Send the form, the document list and the deadline by email. We provide only current documents that belong to our entity and state clearly if anything requested is not held.
Can we visit your workshop as part of supplier evaluation?
Yes, by prior appointment at our workshop in Pedda Amberpet, Hyderabad. Tell us the purpose of the visit and who will attend so we can arrange it.
