In short. Generator rental in Hyderabad is priced per day, per week or per month, and the rate moves with four things: the kVA rating, the hire duration, whether an operator is included, and the delivery distance. Fuel is almost always on the customer’s account. There is no honest flat rate card that fits every site — but there is a same-day firm quote: send the kVA (or the load), the dates and the site location on WhatsApp 098852 01608 and you will have the rate for your exact case, usually within the hour in business hours.
How a rental quotation is built
- Base hire — per day, week or month for the set itself, silent canopy included. The monthly rate per day is well below the daily rate: duration is the biggest discount lever.
- Operator — for larger sets, night running or sites without an electrician, a trained operator is quoted per shift. Small sets on AMF can run unmanned.
- Transport and craneage — to and from the site, by distance and set weight. Within Hyderabad and Secunderabad this is modest; for district sites it is quoted by kilometre.
- Cables and changeover — power cable up to your panel, and a changeover or ATS if the site has none. Quoted per run length.
- Fuel — on your account, either your diesel or ours billed at purchase price. Our rental planning tool estimates litres per day from your load so you can budget it before the set arrives.
What moves the rate up or down
Up: short hires of a few days, remote sites, 24-hour running (two operators), monsoon-season urgency, and very large or paralleled sets. Down: monthly and longer terms, daytime-only running, sites with their own changeover and electrician, and flexible delivery dates. If your dates can flex by a day or two, say so — it often matters more than negotiating the base rate.
What is always included with a Reddy rental set
A load-tested set in a silent canopy, delivered with its test record; standard first-fill lubricants; breakdown response from our own service engineers for the whole hire; and replacement of the set if a fault cannot be repaired on site quickly. We run our own fleet and our own service team — the person who rents you the machine and the person who keeps it running are the same company.
Typical hire situations we price every week
- Functions and events — one to three days, evening running, operator included.
- Construction and infrastructure — monthly, often extended; see the project record.
- Industrial shutdowns and maintenance — fixed-window hires where backup cannot fail; sets are sized with margin and a standby plan.
- Bridging power — while a new connection, transformer or purchased set is awaited; several of our bridging-power hires have run for years.
- Commercial buildings — long-term rental as an alternative to buying; the Begumpet 125 kVA hire has run since 2015.

Questions hirers ask about rental rates
How much does it cost to rent a generator in Hyderabad per day?
It depends on the kVA, the duration, operator and distance, so a flat figure would mislead you. Send the kVA and dates on WhatsApp 098852 01608 and you will have the firm day rate for your case, usually within the hour in business hours.
Is fuel included in the rental rate?
Normally no — fuel is on your account, because consumption depends entirely on your load and hours. We tell you the expected litres per day in advance so you can budget it.
Is monthly rental cheaper than daily?
Much cheaper per day. Duration is the biggest single discount: a month costs far less than thirty separate days.
Do I need an operator?
Small sets with AMF can run unmanned if your site has someone who can do a daily check. Larger sets, night running and event sites normally take our operator per shift.
How fast can a set reach my site?
Within Hyderabad and Secunderabad, often the same day for common ratings; district sites usually next day. In an emergency, call 098852 01608 — we are open all seven days, 8:30 am to 8:30 pm.
What sizes do you have on rent?
The fleet covers the common ratings from small single-phase sets to large three-phase machines, and sets can be paralleled for bigger loads. Tell us the load; we will tell you what fits.
